Using The Weather Proof Dome Cam Is Most Suitable For Outdoor Security
As a security consultant, I've handled many clients who have very specific needs in mind. A lot of them worry about their security outdoors since they have gardens or business set-ups in the open air.
One of the most basic products I suggest is the weather proof dome camera. They aren't that expensive and even just one camera could increase their security outdoors.
I usually recommend a handful of different types of dome cameras just so that they could have a wider variety. One of these is the Day/Night Infrared Dome Camera that can see at night and could automatically change modes depending on the availability of light.
The High Resolution Dome Camera is another one I suggest. It can withstand almost any environment while still performing well with its 1/3" CCD chip and 36 IR LED's, all for better picture quality. This weather proof dome camera is also vandal resistant.
A camera more suited for indoor surveillance is the Pro Series Dome Camera. It's a little over 4 inches in diameters and has a high resolution Sony CDD Chip, the best for watching over the break room or a warehouse.
If the client requests something more inconspicuous, I direct them to the Mini Dome Camera. It is only a tad bigger than 3" in diameter but could still shoot high quality videos with its Sony 1/4" Super HAD CCD chip and light sensitivity.
And finally, there is the Vandal Resistant High Resolution Dome Camera. This version is covered by a tough, all-metal enclosure that prevents any kind of weather or attack from damaging it. This weather proof dome camera is even given the highest IP rating.
Matching the dome camera to the client is done best when I know each of their personal requirements and wish. Needs ranging from a weather proof dome camera to an Infrared one is no challenge with the collection of dome cameras at my disposal.
